WALNUT CROSS STRETCHER TABLE
This walnut cross stretcher table was based
on a table featured in Wallace Nutting's
"Furniture of the Pilgrim Century". The
original table was built in about 1690-1700.
The top and aprons of this table were made
from two pieces of book matched crotch
walnut. The legs were turned from solid
walnut planks, 4-1/2" thick.
