CHESTNUT BUTTERFLY TABLE
Here is another table adapted from Wallace
Nutting's "Furniture of the Pilgrim Century". The
top frame is so narrow that there is not enough
room for a drawer, which was typical in Butterfly
tables. This table is constructed from weathered
wormy chestnut barn siding which was recovered
from various barns in Raleigh County, West
Virginia.
